I have heard this statement too many times: “I hate what I am doing but I can’t seem to break free.” Many of us have areas of our lives that we have tried to pray away, will away, hide away, work away or push away. We work so hard to break free, only to find ourselves going back to them in a moment of weakness. After we have gone back, we are covered in shame and often give up the dream of ever being free. To everyone who has ever lost a spiritual battle more than once, God says, “I have given you a road out.”
