Spotlight: Summer Growth Series
This summer, we're offering an opportunity to dive into a few subjects in a deeper way on Sunday mornings. Our first-ever Summer Workshop Series features four 2-week workshops that explore a variety of topics that are core to our walk with Jesus. Join us for one or more workshop (they're all free!), happening between services from 10:00 to 10:50 AM.
Workshop 1: The Gospel with Pastor Jake Hruza
July 12 & 19
Many of us grew up hearing that the gospel is mainly about how we get saved—but what if it’s bigger than that? This class explores what the gospel really is: the good news of Jesus and its meaning for our lives today. We’ll look at how Jesus and the early church talked about the gospel and why it still matters. If you’ve ever wondered what the “good news” really means, this is a great place to start.

Workshop 2: Prayer with Pastor Carrie Butler
July 26 & August 2
This 2-part workshop will explore what it means to live as people of prayer who love and serve others by bringing all things to God and partnering with him and what he is doing through our prayers. In the first session, you’ll learn a simple, practical Blessing Prayer model that will help you pray for others. In the second, you'll learn what it means to prayer-walk in everyday spaces. This workshop is designed to help you move from identity to action, equipping you to pray, bless, and carry God’s presence wherever you go. Whether you’re new to this or looking to grow, come ready to engage, practice, and be encouraged.

Workshop 3: Forgiveness with Pastor Wendy Powell
August 9 & 16
Forgiveness. Always hard. Always God’s plan. ALWAYS. Join Pastor Wendy Powell for a workshop that walks through receiving forgiveness as the foundation from which we can then forgive ourselves, others and even God. The open invitation of the cross is a powerful path to freedom, joy and healing for all who will humble themselves to walk it.

Workshop 4: Community with Pastor Tyler Forney
August 23 & 30
We were never meant to follow Jesus alone. Our best way to grow in discipleship to Jesus is through Biblical Community. Our Community Workshop is a 2 week, informative starting point for anyone wanting to learn more about what biblical community is. Biblical Community is more than casual connection and friendship, it's practicing following Jesus with others as we all become more like him together. Whether you're new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, come explore what it means to do that alongside others at CTK. You’ll learn what we mean by "biblical community", why it matters, the rhythms that help us grow in our relationships with God and others, and where to take your next step.
