I am blown away by this simple thought: God himself sent his only son, Jesus Christ, on a rescue mission to save my life! God loved me and cared so deeply about my eternal destiny that he laid down his life to pay a debt of sin that I could not pay. Jesus paid my ransom by dying on a cross, but he is not dead anymore. He is risen! This Easter weekend, Christ the King Church is going to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. We are going to proclaim his greatest headline ever: HE IS ALIVE!
