Adults Classes
Love and trust are at the core of our relationship with God. And as with any relationship, we build trust gradually as we spend time together. Prayer is our opportunity to get to know God personally and experience his love for us directly. Rooted in scripture and historical spiritual practices, this foundational class will help you learn how to recognize and discern the voice of God. Trying to hear him can seem like a mysterious quest reserved only for mountaintop moments or desperate situations. Not true! God longs to engage with each of us! Often we just need a little help, a guide to get us started on how to develop this part of our relationship with him.
Many who’ve taken this class over the years find their understanding of prayer expands and their experience of prayer grows. Most find there is something in the way of our listening- a fear, a belief, a misconception.
