Gas, groceries, electricity, heat, medicine, education, transportation - everything has a price tag and the numbers just keep getting bigger. And as the prices go up, the so-called experts keep adding words to describe the situation, like economic downturn. Recession. Foreclosure acceleration. If you listen long enough you will end up in one place... a place called despair.

Into these troubled times steps Jesus who asks, "What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?" This week we begin a new series called "The High Cost of Living." This series is not about money! This series is about the high cost of living a life free of regret. This series is about the high cost of personal freedom.
