Foster Family Holiday Party
Kids Families Special Events
Looking for a meaningful way to bless families who open their hearts and homes to children in foster care? This November, CTK is partnering with an incredible organization called Foster Hearts to host a special holiday party for foster families. Foster Hearts is dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and creating moments of joy for the families who care for them. This is a beautiful opportunity to come alongside these families to share love, encouragement, and holiday cheer. Some ways that you can get involved are:
1. Donate a Gift Basket (Now through November 15)
Help us create a special gift for each family attending the holiday party! We're putting together themed baskets and would love your contributions. We are looking to make 50 baskets. Themes include:
- Spa Night (bath items, candles, massage or mani/pedi certificates, anything that pampers)
- Family Game Night (board games, card games, snacks, etc)
- Kitchen Essentials (mugs & cocoa, marshmallows, cookies, pasta & sauce, oven mitts, olive oil, colander, etc)
- Meals on the Go ( Gift cards to restaurants or grocery stores for quick snacks / meals for those busy nights.)
Donation items can be dropped off at the reception desk. Please donate only new, unused items.
2. Volunteer at the Event
Come serve with us and help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for these amazing families. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Greeting families
- Assisting with food prep
- Assisting with food serving
- Leading crafts and games
- Helping at the photo station
- Set-up and clean-up
- Assembling gift baskets
- Floater / Wherever needed
Please note: The last day to sign up to volunteer is Sunday, November 6.
