Serving at CTK is a great way to give back some of your time to God, be part of the church's mission, and make new friends. To get started, please fill out a Volunteer Interest Form and return it to Reception or the Connection Point. Check out some of the opportunities below for more information.
We believe God has strategically placed gifted musicians at CTK who have a heart for worshiping Jesus and a desire to be a part of a creative community.
If you are interested in getting involved with the worship team at CTK, a great place to connect is at a monthly event we call "Team Night." Team Night gives CTK creatives the opportunity to come together to worship and get to know one another. Serving and pouring out on the weekends is a great experience, but we serve as a result of being poured into by God and others. For more information about Team Night, visit the Facebook page "CTK Team Night."
We provide quality training for those with an interest in audio, lighting, or video. You'll receive hands-on experience in various aspects of production corresponding to ministry as well as experience that can be applied outside of "the church." If you're interested in joining our team or have any questions, we would love to connect with you over coffee and get to know you more.
Weekend services are the first point of contact with CTK for so many. If you are friendly and reliable, we would love to have you join one of our hospitality teams. Most team members serve every other weekend. There are a variety of roles including:
• Greeters (at the front doors or worship center doors)
• Ushers (help with seating, people flow, and offering)
• Connection Point (information and answering questions)
• Safety Team
Before the age of 12, 80% of people make the decision to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives. Come make a major impact in changing a family's "forever" by serving kids and families at CTK. Whether you want to serve every week or just fill in as a sub when volunteers are sick, whether you prefer weekends or midweek, we have lots of areas to serve. Here are just a few:
At CTK, community is central to everything we do. In fact, our mission is to create authentic Christian community. Small Groups are one of the best ways to create that. Please consider hosting a group at your home, it's easier than you think and life is better connected!
