We have been global partners since 1992, and we want to take this time to say thank you for all your love and support all these years!
A few weeks ago, I had the privilege to meet with Laurel & Tracy about the new global ambassador role.
There are three things that I'm really excited about for this new role:
- It shows the heart that Christ the King has for global missions, and I really appreciate that.
- I think Brian and Tracy truly represent that heart. They are such lovely people, and they serve so well.
- The possibilities for connection. There are so many ways that we could brainstorm together about how the church can be connected to missions all over.
One of the things that I have missed is the prayer that my mother offered to our students. Oftentimes, if there was a student going through difficult time, she would pray for them and send them letters. When she passed away, I got notes from all over the world telling me how significant those letters were.
Maybe there's a prayer warrior who would like to do something like that.
Maybe there's a business owner or leader who has a heart to develop young people.
We would love to see some people coaching young people how to be good leaders.
There are so many opportunities to come and to use your skill to volunteer for a week to even a month and we would love to see how those connections develop.
We are so excited to brainstorm together to see what this role can be and all the ways we can connect!
So thank you, Christ the King family, for being such a big part of World Missions.
