Community Focused

At CTK Sudden Valley, community is central to everything we do – We care about the community. We planted this church in 2012; one of our goals was to meet the needs of our community through a small church that met in a barn. Growing to where we are today that is still one of our most important goals. We have been active in meeting that goal in many ways like:

  • Socially through community events (Easter Egg Hunt, Outdoor/Indoor movie nights, summer camps, groups, and gatherings).
  • Service projects include food distribution, bill assistance, building rehab, park clean-up.
  • Personal growth classes such as Financial Peace University, GIST parenting, Marriage enrichment.

If you want to be a part of meeting the ideas of the community, you have ideas, or if you have a need to be met, we would love to hear from you by filling out a Connection Card.

Mud Bay  August 26 10 AM - Low tide at 11:25 AM • Meet at the Dance Barn to carpool
Recommended to wear old tennis shoes or shoes you don't mind getting muddy, and it would be a good idea to bring a hiking pole because the mud gets slippery!  This is a great hike for kids because there are lots of baby crabs and sand dollars.  The sandstone cliff formations are spectacular!  Learn More.
