Sexuality. Politics. Racism. Domestic violence. Topics like these are hard to talk about. They make us uncomfortable. They challenge our beliefs. They trigger arguments. They seem too complex, too intimidating, even too painful to discuss. As Christians, our desire to be at peace with others can easily lead us into the trap of silence. Tragically, for people affected by these issues, our fear of the forbidden can leave them feeling more isolated than ever.
