CTK KIDS

CTK Kids is the name of our Children’s Ministry at Christ the King Church. It's led by a team of staff and volunteers, whose passion is children, and vision is to connect kids to God and others! Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive program tailored just for kids, no matter what age or grade, to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other children and adults.

Our weekend services are designed with children in mind! Each child is taught in an age-appropriate environment. From Nursery to grade five, our desire is to see each child be cared for in an individual way. All of our CTK Kids leaders have been screened and trained to work with your child. From loving care in the nursery to upbeat music in Kids Rock, your child will be cared for and taught God’s Word in a safe, loving and encouraging environment.

NURSERY (0-36 months)

Our friendly volunteers take great care of your precious one during the service. They read, sing, play and pray with the babies as they begin to learn about Jesus’ love. Please make sure that you have a diaper bag including the following items: at least 1 diaper, a pre-made bottle (if needed), a pacifier and/or anything other item that will aid in comforting your baby through the service.

ADVENTURELAND (3-6 years)

We know things are busy at this stage of life and your children are learning and growing in amazing ways, and we can’t wait to meet them! We believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning with preschool children. You can plan on a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, and playfulness.

The AdventureLand hour begins with free play, includes a Bible lesson, fun age-appropriate songs and a craft.

It is our hope that your child will learn: God LOVES me. God MADE me. Jesus wants to be my FRIEND forever.

KIDS ROCK (1st-5th grade)

In Kids Rock, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be active and loud, and good leaders always care.

The focus in Kids Rock is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God's Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. The Kids Rock hour begins in small groups where kids are broken up by age: K-1, 2-3, 4-5th grade girls and 4-5th grade boys. They begin the hour with a game or activity to connect with one another and the lesson for the morning. We come together as a large group for songs and a Bible lesson and head back to small groups for discussion. We look forward to helping your elementary student grow in their faith and live differently as a result!
