LIFE'S BETTER IN COMMUNITY!

We believe we are called to be the church more than just on Sunday. The heart of our mission is to create authentic Christian community, and the greatest way to do this is through groups.

We want to be an authentic Christian community that helps each grow as followers of Jesus. That takes intentionality. It’s our conviction that we all need to be in a consistent community that’s helping us grow in Christ. We need each other to support each other in the ups and downs of life, help bring maturity in our faith, and discover the gifting and calling that God has for everyone.

We offer three types of groups at CTK Blaine, click the tabs below to find one that's right for you!

The Alpha Course is an 8-12 week discussion group that freely explores the basics of the Christian faith. Each session starts with food, a video, and then a discussion around the different ideas on life and faith presented in the video.

Childcare is available. There is no cost and no pressure!

Alpha is a great place to start out, both in your faith and as a part of CTK Blaine. The Alpha Course is a natural place to make friends, find support, in an environment where you can be yourself and share your mind!

Small Groups help people grow in their faith through face-to-face community. We aren’t meant to follow Jesus alone. He’s given us the gift of community to help us grow in our faith as we build friendships and support each other.

Small groups at CTK Blaine are both fun and real. They typically meet for 90 minutes a week and usually include food, sharing, conversations about the Bible, and prayer. But they can also include serving together in the community and other good stuff like trivia nights, games in the park, hiking, or other things friends do!!

Quads are intentional discipleship groups at CTK Blaine. A quad is four people who commit to come alongside each other in a journey towards maturity in Christ. Groups engage with God’s Word and share with each other. Typically, a quad meets weekly for 6-months to a year. After that, each member is encouraged to start a new quad with three other people – helping others grow in their relationship with Christ!

Quads typically use a guide called Discipleship Essentials by Greg Ogden. There’s also a shorter version called Essential Guide to Becoming a Disciple, as well as a Leadership-focused guide called Leadership Essentials by the same author.
