Pamoja Love Outreach Trip to Kenya

Missions

Location: Nairobi & Western Kenya
Duration:
 Two Weeks
Date: Late August 2024

Join us on this life-changing journey with Pamoja Love, a nonprofit serving CTK’s global partners in Africa. Our team will immerse in diverse communities across Kenya, offering hope, compassion, and tangible assistance to those who need it most.

About Pamoja Love

"Pamoja" means "together" in Swahili, a concept at the heart of our non-profit organization. We believe in the power of unity and strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus, living out the Great Commission. Our mission is to bring hope to a hurting world, working alongside local partners to make a lasting impact.

Mission Activities

Our two-week outreach will take us to Western Kenya and Nairobi, engaging in a range of activities:

1. Building Homes for Widows in Western Kenya: We will construct safe and secure homes for widows, a vulnerable population often overlooked. This is more than just building homes; it's about providing a foundation for a hopeful future.

2. Working at Jigger Clinics: Our team will lend support at local clinics treating jigger infestations, a pervasive and debilitating health issue in this region. Your participation can make a profound difference in the lives of those suffering from this condition.

3. Visiting Kibera Slum, Nairobi: We will spend time in the Kibera slum, one of Africa's largest urban slums. Here, we'll visit a local school, working with children and empowering young mothers through education and skill-building activities.
