Students come from all over Israel to participate in programs at the National Leadership Center
(NLC). Before they come, NLC staff go to their schools to help them understand what they will
experience, and after they have attended, they have sessions at their school to help them make
what they have learned a way of life.
As groups take on our state of the art high adventure ropes courses, we create a challenge
scenario based upon the life events of biblical leaders such as Joseph, Moses, Joshua, and
David. Each of these great leaders provides timeless lessons such as dependency on God, trust,
courage, communication, and servant leadership.
By connecting experiential learning to the narrative of Israel and its biblical leaders, our skilled
trainers utilize our curriculum called Take 5: Becoming a Leader to lead participants through a
guided reflection and discovery process. Through this process, participants make a connection
to the biblical leader and practical applications are made to their lives. Outcomes for
participants include discovery of life purpose, learned leadership lessons, and a deeper
connection to God by embracing their biblical and cultural heritage.
