Welcome!

Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by building relationships with them, being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word. While many things in our world are changing, some things are staying the same, like our ability to connect and meet with Jesus.

Early Childhood

NURSERY | 0–23 MONTHS

We consider it a privilege to play an important role in the development of your little one’s faith. Our team sees the nursery as an important ministry. We’re very careful and intentional in creating a safe environment where the love of Jesus is the focus.

We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your time with us. Bringing the following items will ensure that all your child’s needs are being met while in our care: a diaper, bottle (pre-made), pacifier and any other security or comfort item. To make sure you get home with everything you brought, please label all items and place them in a compact bag with your child’s name on it.

ADVENTURELAND | 2 YEARS–KINDERGARTEN

Your preschooler will love visiting Adventureland. For an hour every weekend, they’ll experience large-group worship and age-specific small group time.

Through games, music, and exciting Bible lessons, we provide spiritual nourishment that fits this active, curious stage in your child’s life. Adventureland equips kids to develop a real relationship with God and make wonderful friends.

Before your child gets to Adventureland, please make sure to check in at the Children’s Check-in station and make a stop at the preschool-sized restroom in the hallway near our classrooms.

Welcome to Base Camp!

K-5th Grade

Home to CTK Kids elementary ministries, Base Camp is a large campground-themed space complete with a Ranger Station where kids gather for a time of worship through music, prayer, teaching, and an exciting story from the Bible.

Children hear the Gospel – the Good News, that Jesus is God’s rescue plan! They discover valuable life lessons from the Bible, and how to put into practice what God is showing them.

Any questions, contact Duane Weaver.

K & 1ST GRADE

Kids need a place where they can just be themselves! During every weekend service, Kindergarteners and 1st graders have a blast, hanging out with their leaders and friends, playing games, coloring, and talking about the day’s Bible story.

2ND & 3RD GRADE

Kids love an adventure. During every weekend service, 2nd & 3rd graders will have a blast, hanging out with their
leaders and friends, playing games, and exploring what it means to follow Jesus on the greatest adventure of all!

4TH & 5TH GRADE

There’s a huge difference between a first grader and a fifth grader, so we offer something just for kids in 4th and 5th grades during every weekend service. This classroom is a fun place for kids to learn to apply God’s truths and love others.

Worship happens in a large group setting, and then kids enjoy age-specific group games, music, and teaching. Children discover valuable life lessons from Bible characters — and how to put into practice what God is showing them.

Child Dedication Class

When it comes to raising our kids, the list of responsibilities is long. But nothing we do is more important than pointing them toward Jesus. Child dedication at CTK is about helping you demonstrate your desire and commitment to do just that. Join other families with young children our class that will prepare you to dedicate your child to God — and yourself to godly parenting.

After completing the class and dedicating yourself to godly parenting there will be a separate dedication ceremony. There your friends and family will celebrate with you and pledge their support in your commitment to your child.

For more information, please complete this child dedication interest form.

Baptism and Children

Is my child ready for baptism?

Baptism is a symbolic way to publicly declare our decision to trust Jesus and follow him. It's a significant marker in a believer's life that can help affirm that step of faith. If your child wants to be baptized, email Pastor Duane and plan to attend our kids' baptism class. Your child will be asked to write out their story of how they chose to follow Jesus and how they are living their live for him.

The next kids' baptism class is Sunday, April 7 at 6:00 PM in Room 210. Parents will need to accompany their child to class, but if you are not able to join your child please let Pastor Duane know.

Moms in Prayer

Moms—the power of prayer over whatever your child might be going through can be even more hopeful when praying with other moms. Join us on any or every Wednesday morning to pray for your children, their teachers, and our schools, using the promises in God’s word. Replace fears with hope, and connection with other moms to find encouragement and support.

No need to sign up, just show up any Wednesday at 9:30AM in Room 214 (Prayer Room).
For more information, email Sydel (360-733-1337).
