Israel Project Update

A couple of years ago, you gave to a “mystery project” in the Middle East. We're excited to announce a brand new partnership in Israel to help those less fortunate have a life-changing experience.

A couple of years ago, you gave to a “mystery project” in the Middle East. COVID-19 delayed the utilization of those funds until this month! Thanks to your generosity, we are collaborating with the National Leadership Center in Israel to launch a program focused on helping those less fortunate have a life-changing experience.

Many of the students our funding will support are underprivileged or at-risk youth - some are orphans, many are in boarding schools, and many are from minority communities. At the NLC, they come to understand their life purpose using a transformational leadership curriculum based on the Torah and Israel’s history. The spiritual qualities demonstrated by Old Testament Biblical leaders are made personally relevant today.

The outdoor adventure-driven environment of the National Leadership Center combines experiential learning focused on Israel’s biblical heritage. This new scholarship program aims to sponsor 50 groups – 1000 underprivileged or at-risk youth per year. CTK’s gift will help support the first 12 groups in this program over the next three months.

As these groups come, we look forward to getting reports on these groups and their experience to know what our partnership is accomplishing.

Let’s continue to fund this unique initiative at the NLC - giving young people the opportunity to discover a new identity building strong leaders that affect change on the spiritual landscape.
