MARCH IS MISSIONS FOCUS MONTH AT CTK!

Our goal during this month is to raise awareness and funds for ministries that have local and global impact. This year, our special offering will support four local organizations that meet vital needs for underserved populations — right here in Whatcom County and around the globe.

Life-Giving Network
Serving India, Nepal, Cambodia, Vietnam • Kim Ryan
The Life-Giving Network trains pastors in impoverished nations how to grow healthy churches that love lost people to Christ. These pastors then train other pastors, allowing rapid multiplication of churches and leaders in unreached people groups. LGN pastors and their churches are also equipped to rescue and care for orphans and needy children through monthly financial support.

Lummi Jesus Quest Bible Camp
Serving Lummi Nation • Tom & June Cox
A Lummi elder (now 99 years old) had a vision of a Bible camp for Native children. She had two requirements: that it be overnight, and that there would be no cost to the campers and their families. In her words, “Nobody should have to pay to learn about Jesus.” At this summer’s 13th annual Jesus Quest Bible Camp, kids age 7-12 will learn about Jesus, the Bible, and prayer while having loads of fun.

The King’s Storehouse
Serving 19 Countries Worldwide • Bob & Pat Warren
The King’s Storehouse provides water filters and indigenous language audio Bibles to more than a dozen different Christ centered missions working in 19 different countries around the world. In addition, The King’s Storehouse has also provided clothing, toys, and medical supplies/equipment to local and international organizations serving missions, orphanages, clinics and churches in need. Other services include agricultural micro-loans and financial support for missionaries in nine countries.

New+Vision Soccer
Serving Africa • Nate & Jill Graf
Virtually all the world’s affliction can be traced back to fatherlessness. Millions of poverty-stricken, fatherless boys live on the streets of Africa, and the future leaders of this world are among them. New+Vision Soccer’s mission is to love, minister, educate and mentor these boys age 12-20 with the hope of creating God fearing fishers of men. Soccer is the game… changing lives is the goal.

If you’d like to give, please  choose “Missions” when you give online. Funds raised over and above these organizations’ needs will go toward other missions-specific ministries and projects.
